Ridin' That Creative Wave

I seem to be on a roll. After months of sitting around WISHING I could get some work done, I'm focused and actually finishing pieces I've been planning in my head. The latest: another of my color shifting seed bead lariat necklaces. Starting from one end in a deep root beer brown, subtle shading across the length to a shimmering light tan. The main rope was made with the spiral rope beadweaving method, finished with branched fringe and tons of glass accent beads.





What's next, I wonder?

    Kate this is gorgeous. I can't even begin to imagine the depth of skill that goes into this kind of beadwork. What's next?! You tell me!

    just surfing by - interesting work.

    I have a few "projects" that I keep wanting to get finished too. I guess we just have to make ourselves do it.

    to say that this is absolutely STUNNING would be an understatement! wow, wow, wow, my little beading buddy...you have done a spectacular job on this! keep ridin' that wave, sister...you're ridin' it good! real good! :)

    holy smokes! you really are on a roll. I would love to be able to bead like this ... how many hours did you invest in this piece? I love the way the colors change & the accents are wonderful, too.
